The Velvet Ice Cream Ride is a Pelotonia Fundraiser by teamCOPC. This is a fully supported bicycle tour with challenging (and optional easier) routes aimed at helping riders prepare for the hilly parts of Pelotonia. rnrnThis event is limited to 400 participants and will be held rain or shine, with safety and common sense determining participation.rnrnRoutes and Distances

1 Scoop 25-35 miles

Scoops 45-55 miles

Sundae Route 65-80 miles

Banana Split Route 90-105 miles

Detailed routes will be available 1 week before the event.

All sales final – no refunds.

No same day registration – must purchase tickets by Wednesday July 10

$40 for registrations received by 4/30/19

$50 for registrations received between 5/1/19 – 5/31/19rn$55 for registrations received between 6/1/19 – 6/30/19

]$60 for registrations received between 7/1/19 – 7/10/19

Upon check-in you will get a wristband that will make you eligible to get snacks at our rest stops and the after-ride picnic. You will also get a map for your chosen route.

Check-in starts at 7:00 a.m.rnBanana Split riders plan to roll out no later than 7:30 a.m.

Sundae riders plan to roll out no later than 8:00 a.m.

One and Two scoop riders must roll out no later than 9:00 a.m.

There will be no mass start or ride leaders. Show up, Sign-in, and GO!

We ask that you select the distance that you will most likely take so we can make sure there are adequate support and snacks. However, you will have the option to make a change upon check in on the day of the event.
